ROBWAY HISTORY
Robway has a solid history in the crane industry. The founder Robert Way (pictured bottom right) began hiring cranes in 1953. Robway was established in 1977 and from a small base in Thebarton, South Australia the business has grown to become significant in the international marketplace.
A change in ownership during 2003 resulted in a greater focus on the Asian and Middle East markets. The new owners, Managing Director, Andrew Powell and Sales Director, Andrew Toop (pictured top right) had a clear strategy for sustainable growth through existing and innovative new products and services. A strong culture was considered fundamental to the progression of the Robway business.
The company owes its success to the dedication and knowledge of its employees during its accomplished history. Many employees have extensive experience with Robway, this combined with the ability to attract new, talented staff, positions the company to be able to continue its considerable growth.
